- 中台世界禪修中心 - 第一期工程“德州寶塔禪寺”已開始興建中台禪寺秉持佛陀慈悲濟世精神，及開山方丈 上惟下覺大和尚之悲心宏願，在全球各地廣設道場，普利有情。今將於休士頓東北方之 Shepherd 建立世界禪修中心，其佔地525英畝，日後將弘揚正法。其建築和文物將涵蓋宗教、藝術及文化等各層面，能幫助更多人精進修行、禪坐靜修、明心見性，影響既深且遠，利益無量，敬邀各位隨喜發心護持。 -------------------------- Chung Tai International Retreat Center plans to build the largest all-purpose Zen monastery in the USA. Its artistic, cultural, and Buddhist buildings and articles, when completed, will attract countless practitioners and tourists from all over the world to Shepherd, Texas. This is a historic event, likely to have an impact for one thousand years or more. First-phase construction was started in August 2009 to build Texas Pagoda Chan Monastery and expand roads.
